Steve Hemphill

Steve Hemphill is a passionate author, teacher, and the founder of Active Faith Ministry, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching the biblical principles of spiritual warfare and the power of prayer. After a successful 28-year career as a technology entrepreneur, Steve transitioned into full-time ministry in 2009 to share "God Stories" and equip believers for spiritual battle.

He is the author of several impactful books, including My Search for the Real Heaven, My Search for Prayers Satan Hates, and What Are the Stakes?. Steve is particularly known for his teaching on "staking" property with Scripture—a practice rooted in Deuteronomy that has led to countless testimonies of spiritual protection and transformation. A gifted storyteller with a marketing background from Abilene Christian University, Steve has spoken in hundreds of cities across the United States and internationally, sharing a message of hope and active faith.
